The Reconsecration of the Host is a scene within Paolo Uccello's larger work, The Miracle of the Desecrated Host. This multi-panel altarpiece, also known as the Predella of the Profanation of the Host, depicts the story of a Jewish merchant who attempts to burn a consecrated host, which then begins to bleed. The third scene in the narrative series shows the procession being organised to re-consecrate the host.
