These are the illustrations by various artists for the 1889 edition of The Young Folks' Pilgrim's Progress, which was published by Frederick Warne, an adaptation of John Bunyan's immortal allegory but with all of the theological discussions omitted.
This download features 52 hi-res images in JPEG format, scanned by us from an original edition of the book. They are all 600dpi and range in size from 3804 pixels wide/tall to 5960 pixels wide/tall.
All of the illustrations in the book were engraved by the Dalziel brothers, whilst there are several illustrators involved in this collaboration, including one of the Dalziel brothers themselves, Edward. Artists included:-
