These beautiful Persian images are taken from a 1947 book. The pictures are from the Persian school of miniature painting and are ancient depictions from illuminated manuscripts held by the British Museum.

This download features 13 hi-res images (12 Persian paintings plus the book-cover design), in jpeg format, that are all 600dpi and range in size from 3690 pixels wide/tall to 8200 pixels wide/tall.

The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.
