Flora Muriel Harris (1896-1947)was an illustrator who contributed to children's annuals in the 1930s, mainly the 'Little Dots' series.
Born in 1896 in Liverpool, UK, to entertainer Leslie Harris (b.1867) and Flora Harris (b.1872), also an artist, the younger Flora appears to have used her middle name Muriel professionally.
Muriel produced some incredibly delicate and well-observed illustrations of babies and children in both monotone and duotone/half-tone.
