J.M.W. Turner Watercolour Prints - 67 images

This lovely collection of J.M.W. Turner's watercolour prints features paintings of London, Venice, Scotland, Italy, Oxford and more. All of the images are the same size and feature a white border, making them very easy to print and frame. Nearly all of the images show the rough edges of the watercolour paper against the white border, which makes them look really authentic in a frame.

This download features 67 hi-res images in JPEG format by the artist Joseph M.W. Turner.

The images are all 600dpi and are 7300 pixels wide by 5700 pixels tall (two are 5700 x 7300 pixels). This is approximately 30 x 24cm.

Pictures included feature the Burning of the Houses of Parliament (1834), Aldeburgh Suffolk, Caernarvon Castle, Edinburgh Castle, Oxford High Street and St. Mary's, Merton College Oxford, Rome, Whitby, Margate, Yarmouth and more.

The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.

Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) is often regarded as one of Britain's greatest and most innovative artists.

His early works were rooted in the traditions of landscape painting, but he was soon recognised for his ability to convey both the beauty and the sublime power of nature through the use of light and colour.

Born in Covent Garden, London, Turner was the son of a barber and began displaying an artistic talent from a young age. He enrolled at the Royal Academy Schools at the age of 14 and quickly garnered attention for his remarkable talent. Turner’s landscapes often feature dynamic weather conditions and dramatic light, creating emotive scenes that evoke both serenity and turbulence.
