This book was written by Thornton Waldo Burgess who was an American conservationist and author of children's stories. By the time he retired, he had written more than 170 books and 15,000 stories for his daily newspaper column.
It includes North American wild animal illustrations, including an otter, brown bear, bat, squirrels, a beaver, badger, possum, racoon and many more.
The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.
