The Britain Beautiful series consists of 4 volumes of large encyclopedia-type books that were published by Hutchinsons in the 1920s.
This download features 12 hi-res images, in jpeg format, that are all 600dpi and range in size from 3430 pixels wide/tall to 5274 pixels wide/tall.
The pictures include 5 by George F. Nicholls (1857-1939), 3 by Louis Burleigh Bruhl (1861-1942), 2 by James W. Gozzard (1862-1926), 1 by Henry C. Begg (1857-1951) and 1 by M.C. Green (possibly Mary).
Scenes include the hills near Harrogate, Anne Hathaway's cottage, a Worcestershire cottage, Salisbury Cathedral, Ludlow Castle, the Cheddar Gorge, the River at Beccles, Tipperary and Beachy Head.
