Mario Borgoni (1869-1936) was an Italian artist who created many travel posters for ENIT, the Italian National Tourism Agency. Founded in 1919, ENIT sponsored many beautiful travel poster advertisements throughout the 20th century, all with their signature ENIT logo stamp. Borgoni created many posters for ENIT in the 1920's & 1930's that typify the traditional travel poster style of the time.

Borgoni was both a painter and an illustrator who created many Italian travel posters for very well known destinations. His work is highly admired for his colourful depiction of these poster sites.
