Charles Edward Wilson

Charles Edward Wilson (1854-1941) was a British artist born in 1854 at Whitwell, Derbyshire. 

Wilson's educational background includes going to Sheffield School of Art to further his skills. He was part of the British art scene during the early 20th century and had connections with influential artists such as David Burliuk, a key figure in the Russian avant-garde movement; Marc Chagall, known for his colourful and dreamlike imagery; Albert Goodwin, recognised for his landscapes and allegorical works; and Helen Allingham, famed for her charming depictions of rural scenes.

He passed away in 1941.
