Pedro Blanes Viale Biography

Pedro Blanes Viale (1878–1926) was a distinguished Uruguayan artist whose work played a pivotal role in shaping the visual arts landscape of his country in the early twentieth century. Born in Montevideo, Blanes Viale developed a passion for painting from an early age, eventually pursuing formal training at the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
