Agnes Richardson

Agnes K. Richardson (1885-1951) was born in Wimbledon, London, and studied at Lambeth School of Art. She illustrated books for children, including annuals, and designed greetings cards and at least three posters for London Transport.

Books illustrated include: E. Vredenburg, Golden Locks and Pretty Frocks (1914); L. Carroll, Alice in Wonderland (1920); C. Perrault, Fairy Tales from the French (1920); A.G. Herbertson, The Cosy Corner Book (1923).

Books written and illustrated include: The Dainty Series [four volumes], (1924); Chubby Chums (1932); The Agnes Richardson Book (1936).
