James Ogilvy

James Spence Ogilvy (1863-1917) was a Scottish landscape painter who specialised in watercolours recording British heritage homes and villages at the turn of the century.

The 1911 census shows that he was living in Kensington, London.

His finely detailed work was used for book illustrations and enjoyed immense popularity with his Edwardian audience.
