Charles Gregory

Charles Gregory (1849-1920) was a genre and history painter who exhibited work at the Royal Watercolour Society and also at the Royal Academy.

His artistic talents were apparent from a young age and his parents enrolled him to study at the Royal Academy schools, where he particularly excelled in watercolour painting.

His work mostly focused on rural life in England, which proved immensely popular with the Victorian public.
