Kate J. Fricero Biography
Kate J. Fricero (1878-1923) was born in France in 1878.
She worked as an illustrator in both France and England, later working for the British publishers, Grant Richards and Blackie's.
Her picture books, 'Little French People' and 'Ponto' (pages from the diary of a pet dog), were published in English. Fricero drew 'Les Distractions de Mlle Nini' in La Semaine de Suzette in 1907.
'Our Visit to France' was published in 1909 with 24 full-page colour illustrations and numerous black and white vignettes by Fricero.
She died in 1923.
