Charles Earle (1832-1893) was a well-regarded British 19th-century painter, known primarily for his detailed European landscapes, genre scenes, and picturesque views, often rendered in watercolour.

His works featured subjects like Italian villas, English countryside (like Canterbury Meadows), and historical sites, frequently depicting figures and animals within these scenes.

He exhibited with the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (R.I.).
