This download features 75 hi-res images, in jpeg format, that are all 300dpi and range in size from 1572 pixels wide/tall to 2260 pixels wide/tall.
It was during an earlier sketching tour to Brittany in 1880 that he befriended, and became a 'disciple' of James McNeill Whistler.
'Brittany' was written by Menpes' daughter, Dorothy Menpes, and published by Adam & Charles Black, who published many travel books in the era.
The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.
