After his early years of working on posters and graphic arts, William Nicholson (1872-1949) concentrated on painting. Although he would return to graphic arts and illustration from time to time, from 1900 and under the guidance of Whistler, the majority of Nicholson's output was in portraits, landscapes and still-life work. 

This download features 70 hi-res images, in jpeg format, that are all 600dpi and range in size from 3048 pixels wide/tall to 6250 pixels wide/tall.

Works include Miss Gertrude Jekyll 1920, Miss Simpson's Boots 1919, Courtyard in Snow, Sutton Veny 1927, Sun Fish 1935, Sir James Matthew Barrie (1860-1937) 1904 and more.
