This DVD features watercolour paintings by two artists, Philippe Robert (1881-1930) and George Flemwell (1865-1925).  The latter was a prolific artist, producing pictures for many books on the subject of Switzerland, The Alps and Alpine Flowers. 

Images on this disc were scanned at 300 dpi and range from 552 pixels wide/tall up to 2961px wide/tall.  There are quite a few taller, thinner images included, hence the sizes.

Files are named using the following format:-

Robert, Philippe (1881-1930) – Alpine Flora 1911 – Aronicum Scorpioides

Ie. Artist name and dates – Publication name/date – Name of plant or flower

The disc also includes a comprehensive article about the copyright rules in both the UK and the US and how they affect each other.  Not only will you be able to understand the rules that put these pictures into the public domain, but it will also arm you with the knowledge so that you can decide if other pictures can be freely used in the same way.
