The story features Cracker, a comical white bull terrier with a fetching patch over one eye, and Micky, a huge Irish wolf-hound, Cracker's stooge and more importantly, his mattress. These two irresistible characters were for many years the most famous dogs in the world, the favourite models of Cecil Aldin who was supreme in his portrayal of dogs, horses and wildlife.
The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.
