The author of this children's book was Elizabeth Gordon, however the illustrations are by Marion T. Ross, affectionately known as 'Penny'.
Each of the images is a whole page from the book, featuring small children as anthropomorphised butterflies. Each page also features a short verse written by Elizabeth Gordon along with English and Latin names of the butterflies.
This download features 63 hi-res images, in jpeg format, that are all 600dpi and range in size from 3017 pixels wide/tall to 5176 pixels wide/tall.
The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.
