These Aubrey Beardsley forgeries were published in a book entitled 'Fifty Drawings by Aubrey Beardsley, Selected from the Collection of Mr. H.S. Nicols' (1920). This book was published by his former publisher, Leonard Smithers. These were only later discovered to be forgeries, distinguishable by their almost pornographic erotic elements rather than Beardsley's subtler use of sexuality.
This download features 50 hi-res images, in jpeg format, supposedly by the illustrator Aubrey Beardsley, however they are forgeries.
The images are all 300dpi or 600dpi and range in size from 2166 pixels wide/tall to 3918 pixels wide/tall.
The pictures are out of copyright and in the public domain, so you are free to use them in whatever way you’d like, including commercial use.
