This great public domain image DVD contains over 400 images, 300 by Australian bird artist and ornithologist Gracius Broinowski plus a 100-image bonus folder containing Australian wildlife pictures by various artists.
The images, which are in jpeg format, are out of copyright and in the public domain in the UK, US and all countries that follow the same copyright rules, and therefore can be used as many times as you like without paying any royalties or commissions to anyone!
The Gracius Broinowski images are all taken from The Birds of Australia from 1890.
The 100-image Australian wildlife folder contains pictures by Karl Hartig, Friedrich Kuhnert, Cuthbert Swan and more.

This great public domain image DVD contains over 400 images, 300 by Australian bird artist and ornithologist Gracius Broinowski plus a 100-image bonus folder containing Australian wildlife pictures by various artists.

The Broinowski pictures on this disc range from just under 3000 pixels wide/tall up to just under 5000px wide/tall. The other Australian wildlife images range from around 1000px to over 4000px wide/tall. All of the images were scanned at 300 dpi.
The disc also includes a comprehensive article about the copyright rules in both the UK and the US and how they affect each other. Not only will you be able to understand the rules that put these pictures into the public domain, but it will also arm you with the knowledge so that you can decide if other pictures can be freely used in the same way.
